Delete your Catnook account

Your Catnook account exists only if you signed in to back up your progress. Deleting it removes that backup for good.

In the app (fastest)

Open Catnook and go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account and everything saved with it are deleted immediately.

Without the app

Email aneesrnmba@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Catnook account”. We may ask you to confirm it’s you. We’ll delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it’s done.

What gets deleted

your name, email address and the account IDs from Google or Apple;
your saved focus sessions and their history;
your to-do list and task history;
your fish, items, cats, room and settings.

What is kept, and for how long

An anonymous marker: a random ID with no name, email or data, so a phone that is still signed in can’t accidentally recreate the account.
Encrypted backups: your data can remain in backup copies for up to 60 days, after which it is gone from them too.
Your phone: what is stored on the device stays there until you uninstall Catnook or clear its data.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a Catnook Pro subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings (Subscriptions).
